"THERE'S ONLY ONE TWO!" That was KTVU's jingle for many years. Since KTVU is no longer on my cable lineup, I am not sure if they still use that jingle. I will alway's remember KTVU as the home for CREATURE FEATURES, The Late Night Tradition initially hosted by BOB WILKINS in 1971 but was succeeded by JOHN STANLEY in 1979. KTVU was also home to another tradition, DIALING FOR DOLLARS MOVIE. Actually KTVU's actual Birthday was on March 3RD. Happy 50TH KTVU!!!

I watched Channel 2's Ten O'Clock News last night & they had a blurb about their 50th anniversary during a commercial break. At the end, they had the late 1970s Channel 2 logo with the singing of "There's only one 2"--Brought back the memories!
I am trying to collect all the mov-
ies I remember seeing on Creature
Features from 1971-1979.
Does anyone have or know where I
could find out which movies Bob
Wilkins hosted on ktvu 2 ?
Tom Wyrsch, who put together "The Bob Wilkins" and "John Stanley" Scrapbooks, has assembled a complete list of all of the "Creature Features" movies from 1971 through 1979. I believe that this will be part of a new publishing project concerning "Creature Features" in the near future.
Currently, Tom is finishing up work on WATCH HORROR FILMS—KEEP AMERICA STRONG, a documentary on "Creature Features" that will be premiering at the Grand Lake Theater in Oakland (the home of KTVU) on Saturday, May 15th at 7:00 pm.
You can check out my blog THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND GODZILLA for more details (and a list of special guests).
Also, you can watch clips of various classic KTVU programs on their website's 50th Anniversary page.
Bob Wilkins forever!
