Exactly one year ago on this day, Berkeley based RASPUTIN MUSIC AND MOVIES opened up a location in Stockton in the former TOWER RECORDS location at 6623 Pacific Avenue. While I miss TOWER RECORDS/VIDEO/BOOKS, RASPUTIN'S is a step up from TOWER. RASPUTIN has an EXCELLENT selection of DVD'S, VHS and LASERDISCS. It is the best thing to come to Stockton in a LLLOOONNNGGG TIME! Plus the fact, I don't have to travel to the Bay Area to these type of stores. RASPUTIN has an excellent selection of genre DVD's(Horror, Sci-Fi and Cult) for an affordable price! RASPUTIN replacing TOWER is like replacing your old beat up VW Bug with a Brand New Corvette!!
